The most active and cool jazz funk bank Very Cool People together with the trendiest Latvian rappers Edavārdi and ansis and soul music diva Kristīne Prauliņa present the concert programme “Pa apli” (“Round and Round”).
After great results on Latvian radios, the artists who collaborated on the single “Pa apli” decided to create a concert programme of the same name.
The concert will include songs that Kristīne sings together with Edavārdi and with both rappers, as well as with all three of them. All songs will have new adaptation by the Very Cool People in the best traditions of funk, soul and hip-hop. Also the concert and the upcoming new album will feature a completely new songs that were never played before
Their latest single “Labirints” is released with an animated video that shows action in a computer game Labirinth. Edavārdi, ansis and Kristīne Prauliņa are the good ones in the game, while the Very Cool People – were the evil ghosts, who were trying to catch the main characters. Video was made by Valdis Krūmiņš – author of many videos of the group, whereas animated characters were created by graphic designer Mārtiņš Zaļūksnis.
And there’s more: there is an actual computer game created based on the single. Player can shoose, which character they want to be – Edavārdi, ansis or Kristīne Prauliņa, and go do the task – to collect all the balls, but they will be chased by evil characters – the ghosts, who look pretty much like the Very Cool People muricians. Game is developed by Nauris Kolmanis in collaboration with Mārtiņš Zaļūksnis.
