Apsara Tea Rooms (3 comments)

The first floor is designed in European style with antique furniture, glamorous crystal lamp and an original fire place, but the basement is a mix of Arabian and Indian soft cushion lounge style, where you can enjoy a tea ceremony (Chinese or Japanese) and Turkish delights. Be sure to have enough time, as you really forget about it while you’re there! Don’t forget to check out the bathroom with its “wisdom grafitti”.

Coffee inn (0 comments)

This spacious, ‘hearty’ cafeteria offers very decent yet fast coffee drinks, tasty sandwiches and wraps, superior cheesecakes and cookies. Cultural announcements, easygoing young staff, old, scratched, but comfy sofas and selfservice makes Coffee Inn different from other charming/ romantic/snobbish Riga cafeterias. Gathers younger and louder clientele, but serious looking businessmen with laptops and tempting rich blondes aren’t a rare site. Bicycles, pets and stretching legs are welcome!
