Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga continues its series of guest chef appearances with Stars on The Stage with its second event and welcomes Chef Schmidberger and Chef Brändli from the two-star MICHELIN restaurant Cà d’Oro in St Moritz.

Riga, 21, 22 and 23 October – Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, Latvia’s first five-star luxury Kempinski hotel, and its panoramic Bar & Restaurant STAGE 22 offer a unique opportunity for city guests and locals alike, to enjoy three unforgettable evenings with a six-course menu, exquisite wine pairing and the best service of two-Michelin-star-accredited gourmet restaurant Cà d’Oro chefs – Executive Chef MATTHIAS SCHMIDBERGER and Head Chef RETO BRÄNDLI from GRAND HOTEL DES BAINS KEMPINSKI ST. ‘Whoever stops getting better has stopped being good!’ With this motto, and a great deal of creativity and enthusiasm, Matthias Schmidberger and his team cooked up the first star, awarded by the highly esteemed Michelin Guide, in 2012. This gave the gourmet restaurant Cà d’Oro the prestigious award in its first season under the leadership of Schmidberger.
