George Gershwin Rhapsody in Blues Style
The catchy Goran Gora introduces George Gershwin, a brilliant melody whose music is far more popular than the author himself! One example is "Rhapsody in Blues Style", which took place within three weeks, as Gershwin learned of a planned concert for a work not yet started from a newspaper ad. This time the piano party has been entrusted to Daumantas Liepiņš, who can be proud of the title of winner of several competitions, and all this shows that his victory march will continue. He has already proven himself in classical and romantic music, but now it is time for more freedom. The LNSO will also remember the melodies of the opera "Porgy and Bess", the most popular being the lullaby Summertime.
