From 23 September to 3 October, film lovers around the world will unite to watch and vote for the final ten short films at the 24th annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival. MANHATTAN SHORT is the only event of its kind. A selection of the final ten short films are screened simultaneously around the world over a one-week period, with the nominations for Best Film and Best Actor determined by audience votes.
The MANHATTAN SHORT finalists come from eight countries with films from the UK, Afghanistan, Northern Ireland, Norway, Italy and Canada, as well as two films from France and the USA. These ten films are the best short films out of 970 submissions from 70 countries that MANHATTAN SHORT received for 2021, proving the resilience and vibrancy of short films worldwide.
Language of the films: original language with subtitles in Latvian and Russian.
