The Coco'nuts is a combination of creative musical minds. They play music that may not be so easily definable in a certain style, but if you have to, it’s a mixture of jazz, blues, funk and somewhat of other genres. Band calls Latvia as their home and countries urban and natural vibes as the root of their inspiration. Almost all of the personalities come from different musical backgrounds with their own unique view. Either it’s groove based music, freedom of jazz or soulful feel of blues, The Coco’nuts make this mix work. Band has been playing for 4 years and during this period they’ve performed all around Latvia in different venues and festivals such as Postivus, Intsikurmu, Riga Funk fest, took part in International Jazz Day events around the country and so on. By far the biggest
accomplishment is the release of their first album “Amid Opposites”. Right now band is presenting even more fresh material and, as always, wishes to continue giving their musical messages, vibes and emotions to every open, music-loving soul.
