The Midsummer, of Līgo! festival, in Riga is traditionally celebrated on the November 11 embankment and Dzegužkalns, where bonfires and Līgo! songs will be sung, and traditional festival dishes will also be served. Performing at the events will be various traditional musical and dance collectives. Everyone will also have the opportunity to find out about the merry traditions of Līgo! and greet the sunrise the following morning.
Public transportation in Riga on June 23rd and 24nd will be free of charge.
