Titled Metamorphilia-Metamorphobia, the show explores a stress field between the craving for a transition from one state into another; and the inseparable, interwoven uneasiness just before it. In short, investigating the future with contemporary art made in Berlin. The conceptual artworks are varied in media and presentation with kinetic sculpture, bright paintings, detailed drawings, playful videos, and scientific experiments on view. The artists have found inspiration in cultural backgrounds, technological developments, and visions of the future that span the globe.
