LEGENDS OF GEORGIA
This amazing project is a gift to Latvia from the Georgian people. The gift is very rare and very valuable: the brightest, most popular representatives of the traditional and modern Georgian music scene will meet in the space of one concert on July 10 at the concert hall "Dzintari".
The Georgian singer Nino Katamadze is known, appreciated and loved by the Latvian audience and in many other countries outside Georgia. Her warm voice can not be confused with anyone else, and Nino's style is special: jazz and blues, temperamental funk and inventive fusion she densely kneads on the original, root, folklore basis. A real diva of ethno jazz, she sings not words, but feelings, involving in the flow of melodies, moods, emotions both her group INSIGHT and the whole hall...
The ensemble "Rustavi" is the pride of Georgia, the true keeper of its national heritage - celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. During half a century the ensemble has visited more than 80 countries and gave over 5,000 concerts. However, the best male choir in Georgia is not the only treasure of the ensemble. Rustavi also has an excellent, amazingly impressive dance troupe. And they too will come to "Dzintari"!
All of them - Rustavi, Nino Katamadze and the Insight - will transfer the audience to the sunny and joyful world of magical Georgian music.
